If you are thinking of your winter (01.Nov- 30.Apr) holiday, then we recommend to visit Latvia. Guided "multi-day tour that immerses you in the magical world of snow! During our travels on this 4 day tour we will visit different areas of Latvia country side - country skiing near the Baltic sea, try to catch a fish in a frozen lake, become a real Musher and drive a Husky dog sledge. This is a private tour - and we customise all activities for your interests! Just contact us and we will happily make your trip stupendous.

DAY ONE - ARRIVE IN RIGA

• Arrive in Riga airport (RIX) and transfer to your hotel.

• Old Riga excursion (2hrs) - is the historical and geographical centre of Riga on the right bank of the Daugava. Old Riga covers a relatively small inner area of the 13th-18th century fortifications where unique monuments of medieval architecture which, surprisingly, have survived two world wars are concentrate. The tour includes Riga Castle, Dome Cathedral, St. Peter’s Church, Swedish Gates, Three Brothers, Large & Small Guild Houses & the Freedom Monument.

DAY TWO - CROSS COUNTRY SKIING & SAUNA

• Cross country skiing route (15-20km ~ 3-5 hours) through lovely pine forest firebreaks and along the Baltic Sea coast line. Ski in the fresh sea air not far away from Riga. We make a stop for hot herbal tea and snacks during this active day. Guided cross country skiing tours in the winter are the best ways to explore real adventures in the country where forests cover a vast amount of the countryside;

• Lunch time in local restourant;

• A traditional humid hot-air Latvian sauna (~3 hours). Through sauna rituals and various herbs, here you can get rid of stress, tiredness, improve your health and energise your spirit. The body is refreshed and immunity is increased. Various massages, scrubs and mud masks. Different kinds of herb bunches, medicinal oils, herb teas and scented honeys are available. White and Black saunas, hot tub, blacksmith's, where you can try your hand too.

DAY THREE - ICE FISHING & HUSKY DOG SLEDGE RIDE

• Ice fishing - at the lake your guide tells you about ice fishing and helps you to start. Enjoy the ice fishing on the frozen lake and try to catch you own fish;

• Lunch time;

• Husky dog sledge ride - On arrival we will meet our guides and dog team. Our guide will give you instructions on how to control the sled and dogs. Each sledge is available for two guests. The Husky dog sledding track is 5-8km long. This is an amazing experience that allows you to escape the city, breathe the fresh air and raise your adrenaline in a fast sled dog ride. After we will have hot drinks and snacks.

DAY FOUR - DEPARTURE

Arrangements end after breakfast with transfer to the Riga airport.

If you have free time, then we can offer ride with real bob in Sigulda. Speed on the track: 100 km / h. Slope Duration: 46-50 seconds.;
